Natures Beauty- My Journey to the Sahyadri
Walking through the sandy and moist fields, I was drenched in sweat. I rested my hand on the nearest rock and immediately pulled it back. To my surprise, I was stung by a new species of ants! An army was wading through the wet and irregular rocks. I immediately took out my diary and noted down my observation. I was so awestruck by them that I did not keep a track of the time! Now, I decided to look closely at every small object I noticed in nature. I took a sip of water and started walking again, this time, much more carefully. As I strolled through the dry grass I could see leaves getting stuck to my pants. Small but they clung like super glue! While walking to the summit I thought that just like every different tree has it's own colour and advantages, every person in the world has to be special in his own way. This thought made me ponder about all the disabled children and people who have the will and the guts to live a normal life, even in difficulties.
As soon as I reached the top of the mountain I could feel a gust of cold air past my shirt. Nature was cold, even at forty degrees. Next up was the special, spicy and tasty Kanda Bhaji. My watering mouth and my empty stomach were too impatient to wait. So I headed to the temporary shop. India is amazing, the spices and the flavours make one hungrier.
It was time to descend. Slowly, I started my journey back home. A day with no gadgets is just a normal day but a workout for my muscles and a rest for my eyes. I was happy not to be crouched in front of a screen, hardly blinking. No sooner did I reach home than I smashed onto the bed without even locking the doors or brushing my teeth.
