It's been One year and Four months!

Everything was working well till December 2019. The first wave arrived in January 2020 and India was under strict lockdown from March. Since then it has been one whole year and four months. It is July 2021 now. While the whole world was enjoying a short time period of no masks, the third wave disrupted it all. No more football, cricket, tennis, in fact any sport! Even the Tokyo Olympics have been suspended for a while. A tiny microscopic organism, which is not even visible to naked eye, caused such a huge damage. Getting quarantine from the whole world was our only option. It has been quite some time since the pandemic caused a major effect, killing millions of people, but we are not entirely resistant to it. The virus as well as our vaccines are developing, providing new updates for the users and checking the effects on guinea pigs like us! Both the teams have the same target, the virus is developing to kill us and the vaccine is trying hard to prevent it from happening. We may never ...

Rain- A Misery for Me

 Ah! Rain! How can a season be both irritating and useful?  In a country like India, with a vast population of one hundred and thirty crore, where people don't regret missing out cleanliness, we are proud to present our major season as monsoon.  The population and extreme global warming has not only led to the destruction of crops by over irrigating the lands, but also affected the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.  I never liked the rains, it always caused me trouble. I can't step out on the sticky, moist and dirty roads, nor can I open the windows and let the breeze come in (unless I want to get wet). Every single sport, except swimming, is delayed or stopped in monsoon. I can bet that if you step out while it's raining, you'll return soaked in mud, no matter how hard you try to prevent it! Sports like football or hockey which are bound to play while it's raining, can't be played on a barren land or cement roads unless you want to slip and fall hard onto the ground. More...
